Admission to the class is competitive, and is based upon cover letters and resumes submitted to, and a personal interview with a committee representing faculty and alumni. All students enrolled in this course must have engineering standing as well as senior standing. The course carries one hour of credit and is graded pass/fail.

Students are invited to submit a cover letter and resume by  Monday, November 2, 2015. Cover letters and resumes should be submitted electronically to Tony Colella ( The chairs of academic departments also nominate student candidates for the class. Please submit your information via email and indicate “Leadership Application” in the subject line. Applicant interviews will be held Friday, November 13, 2015, and will be arranged after an initial review of cover letters and resumes by the selection committee.
